What a busy couple of last months.   Life My husband reacted badly to the new anti-convulstant he was on, and wound up in the hospital with beginning stages of liver failure. This is a man that doesn't drink a sip of alcohol. He's better now, and is officially 3 weeks seizure free! Additionally, we are going to have a roommate for the first time, she's moving out to Alberta from Vancouver, and is staying with us until she can get settled. That brings this small house to 3 people, 3 cats, and 2 dogs. Woof!   Soap My soaps...

I am an esthetician (well, I have my diploma). I never worked in a spa, as it turns out I am not a fan of touching strangers. At all. All of this is to say that I have knowledge of the skin, and what I like to use to treat problems. The shave soaps that I make are formulated to provide a smooth shaving...

I was raised very poor in the Lower Mainland of BC. My mother was a troubled woman and we lived in transition houses, while on Welfare and eating from the food bank. When I was about 14, I moved in with my (much more well off) grandparents. Suddenly I was transported into a world of brand names, new clothes, real butter, "only use the tomato knife on tomatoes", and fancy laundry detergent. I left home as soon as I graduated highschool. I have an overwhelming need to be independent and I worked 2 jobs to pay for my crappy room...
