Whipped body butter that comes in a reusable amber glass jar, with a cute little wooden spoon. It seems small but it's mighty, and packed with butter and oils, with zero fillers. The butter has no colourants, and is scented with essential oils, utilizing safe usage rates. Because there are no emulsifiers and a lot of hard butters, the body butter can be hard in cold months and very soft in warm months.
Please note that this product does not qualify for the $5 shipping rate.
How to use: take a small amount onto your finger (or use the provided wooden spoon), and rub into your skin. If you've used commercial body butters before, you'll be surprised to note just how little product you need. As with all products made with butters and oils, it can almost seem greasy at first before it quickly gets absorbed by the skin.
Full ingredients: cocoa butter, organic shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil, silk powder, Alberta beeswax, essential oils. The essential oils are defined in the variants.
This is the only product that has given me some relief from the irritated, dried out, itchy skin on my upper arms and back. Have appointment with neurologist
Gifted this to a friend and she likes it a lot
I originally tried the sample size of this and immediately fell in love. Leaves your skin soft, silky and smooth. While the scent is pleasant it is not over powering. I ended up buying six full size pots of different scents and none of them are a gift! This is an all round lovely product.
I bought two of the body butters, Peppermint/Vanilla and Lavender/Vanilla and this rating will be based on a combination of both. Separately, I would have given this a 5* Lavender/Vanilla but 3* to Peppermint/Vanilla so the overall rating for both is a 4. The issue I had with the Peppermint/Vanilla is that both of the butters are located beside each other in my room but this one stays melted and I didn't realize this the first time so when I opened it half of it dumped on my lap, haha-whoops! But, yes, for some reason it isn't intact like the other one? I also felt the scent to be a bit odd (but I realize that is just my personal preference).
Very soothing and a for sure moisturizer for our Alberta winters
